Matilda King
Matilda, originally from Ghana and a graduate of the University of Ghana with a Bachelor’s degree, serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Geology department. Her current research focuses on utilizing ultrasonic measurements to assess the feasibility of implementing Enhanced Oil Recovery and Carbon sequestration in the Wellington field located in South Central Kansas.In addition to her research role, Matilda is actively engaged as an Intern with the DART team. She is keen on exploring the application of geophysics in precision agriculture, leveraging her expertise to enhance agricultural practices. Matilda is particularly enthusiastic about the potential of modern agricultural technology to revolutionize and uplift the livelihoods of farmers.Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Matilda enjoys traveling during her free time.
