Designed for high school freshmen through graduated seniors, join us on stage July 6-12, 2025 at Kansas State University. We have expanded to a full week for 2025 so you can have a immersive experience with voice professors and guests guiding you through intensive workshops and lessons covering vocal techniques, choreography, and acting, culminating in staged musical scenes at the end of the week. Selections for this summer will focus on the theme Good, Bad and Broadway!

Why Good, Bad, and Broadway?

Broadway has always celebrated characters with complex stories—whether they’re striving for greatness, causing a little chaos, or learning to embrace both sides of themselves. This theme lets us explore a wide range of musicals, from heartwarming classics to thrilling tales of ambition, rebellion, and redemption.

Skills students will acquire:

Vocal & Acting Training: Develop or refine your technique with master voice teachers.

Stage Experience: Perform in staged musical scenes in a professional theatre setting.

Character Exploration: Dive deep into characters that are funny, flawed, fierce—and everything in between.

Collaborative Community: Build lasting friendships with fellow performers who share your passion for musical theatre and learn from current student counselors and acclaimed K-State Faculty.

We believe every performer has a story to tell—and we can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to the stage. Join us for Good, Bad, and Broadway and make unforgettable memories as we celebrate the best (and worst!) of musical theatre together.

The K-State Musical Theatre Camp is an all-inclusive college experience for high school students with meals, room, and activities provided. Whether you're an active performer or exploring the world of musical theatre, this is your chance to shine.
