Main Stage Productions
Each year, K-State Theatre produces seven mainstage shows:
- 1 Musical
- 1 Opera
- 2 Dance Concerts
- 3 Plays
Productions incorporate faculty and student collaborators maximizing significant material and labor resources. Show selection is student-centered based on student and faculty interest and student educational need.

Second Stage Productions
The Second Stage season, typically performed in the Purple Masque, produces four shows annually. These shows are student driven: directed, designed, managed, acted, and produced almost entirely by students at all academic levels.

The institute serves the design, production, and technology professionals in the performing arts and entertainment industry.
