Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTAs) are available that is a .5 (20 hour per week) position and provides a tuition waiver for 10 credits per semester for two years and an annual stipend. These are competitive assistantships with an application deadline being February 1. As soon as the application is complete, you will be considered in the pool for assistantship.

Graduate Assistantships (GAs) are available, associated with a variety of duties and provide a stipend ranging from $1,000 to $8,000 per year and allows the students to pay in-state tuition.

Assistantship details

  • Having an assistantship qualifies them for university health insurance at special rates.
  • Student Services Fee will be assessed per credit hour and range from a total of $500 to $850 per semester.
  • The assistantship is automatically renewed for a second year if your academic and work performance is satisfactory.
