penalties. If citations remain unpaid for more than 14 days, a late fee of $10 will be added. Your vehicle may be wheel-locked if you accumulate five or more citations totaling $200 or more. Unpaid citations can also result in your vehicle being traced through the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you are a student, you may not be able to graduate or receive your transcript until the citations are paid.

Using the Scan & Pay QR code on your citation is the easiest way to pay. Scanning the QR code will take you directly to the payment site without requiring you to log in or create an account. You can also pay citations online through the K-State Parking Portal or in person at the Parking Services office at 706 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the Parking Garage.

Another payment option is the Donations 4 Citations program, which allows students, faculty and staff to have one parking citation forgiven each semester by donating nonperishable food items and hygiene products to Cats' Cupboard. Individuals must donate at least 10 new items to qualify for forgiveness from a designated list.

Not all citations qualify for the Donations 4 Citations program. Citations that do qualify include violation warnings, expired meter violations, unpaid parking, unregistered vehicles, improper parking and overtime parking.
