Refine your writing at Live Ideas Spring Institute

Have you been writing this semester? The Live Ideas Spring Institute, hosted by the Live Ideas Undergraduate Journal, is the perfect opportunity to workshop and refine your work in a supportive, creative environment.

Undergraduate students at Kansas State University interested in developing written work of any genre — fiction, nonfiction, poetry, multimedia essays and more — are invited to apply for the workshop sessions.

All workshops will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Zoom. The workshops will take place on March 31 and April 2, 6 and 11.

Participants can expect collaborative workshop sessions with peers and editors, constructive feedback to strengthen voice and structure, guidance on preparing work for publication and a creative community of fellow undergraduate writers.

Students who attend all four sessions will be awarded a $250 scholarship.

Applications must be completed online before Thursday, March 26. Accepted applicants will receive a confirmation email with Zoom details. For questions, contact Laurie Johnson at lauriej@k-state.edu.
