Portions of Claflin Road and parking lots closed Sept. 17-18

A portion of Claflin Road will temporarily be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. Sept. 17 through 10 p.m. Sept. 18 for the Western Star Global Grain and Food Center ribbon cutting and celebration. Kansas State University will close Claflin Road from Umberger Hall east to the east side of Weber Hall.

Additionally, portions of Mid-Campus Drive will be closed to through traffic. At 6 a.m. on Sept. 17, Mid-Campus Drive from the Dole Hall entrance south to Claflin Road will be closed. At 7 p.m., Mid-Campus Drive south of Claflin will be closed. Claflin Road will reopen at 10 p.m. on Sept. 18, and Mid-Campus Dr. will reopen at 11 p.m.

All parking lots will remain accessible, except for lot B12 adjacent to Call Hall and Western Star. Portions of B11 and B13 will be reserved for VIP parking on Sept. 17 and 18.
