Transition Team

A core transition team has been identified to oversee and coordinate the activities and tasks needed to implement the new staffing structures, both centrally and within the campuses, colleges, and major units. The transition team members are:

  • Thomas Bunton, chief information officer
  • Shanna Legleiter, chief human resources officer
  • Marci Ritter, compensation and organizational effectiveness manager
  • Shannon Leftwich, talent acquisition manager
  • Gregory Flax, interim assistant vice president for academic and research IT
  • Bud Tillman, assistant vice president and deputy chief information officer for enterprise systems
  • Kelly Moon as project management and staff support

This transition team will work with key points of contact appointed by the deans and vice presidents as we move through implementation. The transition team reports to executive sponsors Jesse Mendez, provost and executive vice president and Ethan Erickson, vice president for administration and finance.
