“A Force More Powerful –We Were Warriors,” a film documentary about Nashville in1960,  college  students confront the city’s segregated society.  Location:  Student Union, Little Theater

MAPJ/ACTION Invitational Council Meeting of Activist Groups: Laying the groundwork for   events-based collaboration among campus and community social justice-related groups.  For more info, call 532- 6444.

 

April 3   2 - 4 pm           

Second Annual Community Walk for Safety and Justice.  Meet in front of the Manhattan Public Library.  We will then proceed to City Park (walk under 2 miles).
April TBA EMPTY BOWLS For $10 purchase a hand-made bowl made by a local artist. Proceeds used  TBA  locally to  fight hunger.  Watch for announcement.

 

May 13-14     

The forth annual DATE WITH HATE - A rally at graduation to counter Fred Phelps’ message of hate.  Call for information 532-6444.
