Much More Than a Game
K-State Football will meet up with Iowa State in Dublin, Ireland to open the 2025 season as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Aviva Stadium.
However, K-State's engagement with the Emerald Isle (Ireland) goes beyond the upcoming football game being played there.

Students from Ireland
During the 2022-23 academic year, K-State had 4 students from Ireland enrolled.
During the 2023-24 academic year, K-State had 2 students from Ireland enrolled.
From Spring 2022-Summer 2024, K-State sent 33 faculty/staff travelers to Ireland for a total of 550 days in country.
In 2022-2024, 140 K-State students traveled to Cork, Dublin, Galway, Killarney and Limerick through a variety of programs: KSU in Ireland, API Summer Engineering, Marino Institute of Education (Marino will also be sending a delegation to the K-State campus in December 2024 to potentially collaborate leading up to the Fall 2025 game), Summer in Limerick at the University of Limerick, Semester at Sea Spring Voyage, USAC Ireland: Cork, Exchanges with University College Dublin and Faculty led trips in Accounting and Agricultural Communications and Journalism.
Kansas State University has a standing memoradum of understanding (MOU) with the National Universtiy of Ireland, Maynooth , an on-going exchange program with University College Dublin, and a Consortium Exchange Agreement with Utrecht Network member University College Cork.
