KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY PERCUSSIVE ARTS SOCIETY
Greetings from the Kansas State University Percussion Studio and Student Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society! We hope that you and your groups are enjoying the start of the New Year. We are gearing up for our 4th Annual KSUPAS day of clinics, this time in conjunction with NAfME Collegiate. This means we will offer clinics FOR ALL INSTRUMENTS on April 12th K-State Campus @ McCain Auditorium in Manhattan.
Students will be given a 30-minute time slot for a lesson with their solo and a 45-minute time slot for a workshop session with their small ensemble (duet or larger). The lessons will be taught by college music majors who play your instrument.. You do not have to have a solo prepared to take a lesson. Cost will be $7.00 per individual and $15.00 per ensemble payable to KSUPAS. The day will also include a clinic from Jason Treuting of Sō Percussion entitled “The Universal Musician: Life as a Performer and Compser.” We are excited to collaborate with NAfME this year and we hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity! To register, please fill out the form on the registration tab above.
Deadline for registration is April 5th! For registration to be considered complete, we must have your online registration form and have received payment (check) by April 5th. Checks can be made to KSUPAS and mailed to KSUPAS, Kansas State University Department of Music, 130 McCain Auditorium, Manhattan, KS 66506. To ask any questions about equipment or registration, email me at beichman@ksu.edu.
