Andrew G. Long is Associate Professor of Political Science. He received is B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1998) and his M.S. (2000) and Ph.D. (2004) from Florida State University. Dr. Long's research concerns international conflict and cooperation generally, and the connection between economics and security specifically; he is the author of published articles on the relationship between military alliances, armed conflict and international trade.
Dr. Long teaches courses on international conflict and security and international political economy at the undergraduate, MA, and PhD level for the Department of Political Science.
