Ju-Ying Yang

Dr. Ju-Ying Yang is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Kansas State University. She earned her M.A. in Public Administration from Florida State University, and Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from the Univeristy of Albany-SUNY in 2023.
Her research interest is energy policy. Her dissertation entitled “How Municipalities Transition to Renewable Energy and Address Problems that Occur in the Process: A Comparative Case Study of Four Texas Municipalities”, focused on the decision-making processes of local municipalities transitioning from fossil fuels to renewables.
She teaches courses on public administration, management of public and nonprofit organizations, and intergovernmental relations.
