About

The Office of the President is much more than the president alone — it's a team of leaders strengthened by the qualities and talents each brings to the table. Learn more about the president's staff, cabinet and reporting units.

The role of the president's office

The president serves as the university’s chief executive officer, providing leadership in support of the institution’s mission to foster excellence in teaching, research and service toward the development of a highly skilled and educated citizenry necessary to advance the well-being of Kansas, the nation and the global community.

The work of the president, cabinet and staff spans the entire campus to include not just academics and research, but the areas of student life, athletics, community and governmental relations, marketing and communications and more. All come together to advance the efforts that support K-State's mission, vision and goals. Through the initiatives of the Office of the President, such as K-State 2025, KSUnite and the university's Strategic Enrollment Management plan, we work as a university to meet those goals.
