2008-2009 Provost Lecture Series
Established in 1995, the Provost Lecture Series features nationally known speakers and on-campus experts who address topics of importance in higher education in general and at Kansas State University in particular. Typically six to eight lectures are scheduled throughout the academic year. Details about each lecture and speaker are included in the information below.
K-State TV has complete details on Cable 8 and LPTV 21 broadcast schedules for PLS series programs as well as K-State course review sessions and a wealth of other special broadcasts.
Videos of the Provost Lecture Series events after May of 2005 are available on the information pages of each lecture. In addition, videotapes of lectures are available for checkout from Hale Library. The tapes from the current semester can be checked out for three days from the Reserve Desk on the 2nd floor. Tapes from prior semesters are available for checkout for 7 days from the Media Collection located on the 2nd floor. You may request a specific tape via the course number: LIB 000 -- Office of the Provost or via the title of the Provost's Lecture Series event (the current year's events are listed below).
