Research Interests

Dr. Smith’s primary research interest is how technology is impacting the psychology of intimate relationships and contributing to the epidemic of loneliness.

Undergraduate Involvement

Undergraduate students have the unique opportunity to be part of the Smith Developmental Lab. Here, they gain hands-on experience in research, study design, data collection, and presentation, which are invaluable skills for their academic and professional growth.
