Applied Learning Opportunities

Undergraduate Research

The Psychological Sciences department at Kansas State University is dedicated to a variety of research areas. Our undergraduates have a unique opportunity to work alongside our faculty and graduate students while employing the skills they have learned in the classroom.

Students can receive credit for research on their transcripts via PSYCH 599: Research in Psychology or PSYCH 598: Research in Neuroscience.

Education Abroad

Students majoring in Psychology have the opportunity to go abroad. Our students work with the Education Abroad office to find an opportunity that fits best with their interests and needs.

PSYCH 538-Cross-Cultural Psychology is often offered as a course option through the KSU-Italy summer abroad experience and taught by Dr. Gary Brase.
