Clinical Psychology Certificate

Starting in Spring 2025, students will have the opportunity to pursue a Certificate in Clinical Psychology. The certificate is designed to provide a focused track of courses to increase skills and knowledge related to clinical psychology, and is intended for students interested in entering graduate or professional school in mental health and/or wanting to work with psychiatric patients after graduation.

The certificate consists of 15 hours and includes:

  • PSYCH 110: General Psychology
  • PSYCH 505: Introduction to Psychopathology
  • PSYCH 585: Basic Concepts in Clinical Psychology
  • PSYCH Elective (3 credits) chosen from PSYCH electives list
  • Additional Elective (3 credits) chosen from PSYCH electives or non-PSYCH electives list
