Psychology Minor
Students now have the opportunity to pursue a Minor in Psychology. A Psychology minor offers students a variety of unique areas of study to enhance their existing major.
Our minor consists of 18 hours and includes:
- PSYCH 110-General Psychology
- PSYCH Elective
- PSYCH Elective
- PSYCH Elective
- PSYCH Elective
- PSYCH 350-Experimental Methods in Psychology
Please note: PSYCH 351, 460, 475, 480, and 605 are for Majors Only. Minor students will not be eligible to take these classes. Additionally, no more than 3 credit hours of PSYCH 599 Research may be used toward the minor.

Neuroscience Minor
Students now also have the opportunity to pursue a Minor in Neuroscience. A Neuroscience minor offers students a variety of unique areas of study to enhance their existing major.
The minor consists of 18-20 hours and includes:
- PSYCH 110-General Psychology
- BIOL 101: Concepts of Biology OR BIOL 198: Principles of Biology
- PSYCH 370: Introduction to Behavioral Neuroscience OR PSYCH 470: Principles of Neurosceince
- PSYCH Electives: mimimum of 6 credits
- Additional Electives as needed to meet the18-20 credit requirement
- No more than 3 credit hours of PSYCH 598 Research may be used toward the minor.
Note for Psychology Majors: Only required classes (10 credits) for the Neuroscience Minor will count toward the Psychology Major.
Psychology Majors cannot count the Neuroscience Minor electives toward major requirements.
