E-waste
Electronic waste, commonly referred to as e-waste, consists of unwanted products that are either non-functional or approaching the end of their useful life. Examples of e-waste include computers, laptops, monitors, phones and printers. E-waste is considered hazardous because it may contain harmful substances. Disposing of e-waste in landfills can pose risks to both human health and the environment.
K-State will pick up departmental e-waste upon request. To schedule a pickup, complete the e-waste form below. Completion of the Disposition of Property (DA-110) form below also is required and must be approved by the department authorized person and retained by the department for audit purposes. Any items with an original unit cost of $1,000 or more require approval from the Division of Financial Services.
You also can bring your e-waste directly to the Recycling Center, along with the completed DA-110 form. The center is located behind Weber Hall and is open from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
