Living Groups
Living Groups on campus include the residence halls and Jardine apartments. Off campus living groups consist of Greek housing.
Residence Halls
All six residence halls have large capacity (96 gallon) recycling containers located close to the respective buildings. E-waste has to be dropped off at the Recycling Center, all other recyclables are picked up by Facilities' personnel on a regular basis.
Every room is outfitted with a two-gallon capacity recycling bin. It is the students' responsibility to empty their inside bins into the outside recycling containers.
Small batteries can be dropped off and are collected at the front desks of all residence halls.
Jardine
44 large capacity (96 gallon) recycling containers are located throughout the Jardine housing complex. Residents bring their recyclables to these containers and Facilities' personnel empties the containers every two days.
E-waste has to be dropped off at the Recycling Center.
Greek Houses
Greek organizations implement their own recycling programs on a voluntary basis and may bring their recyclables to the K-State Recycling Center.
K-State Facilities offers inside recycling containers to all Greek houses free of charge.
