Kansas State University ensures its researchers and partners have the tools they need to solve global challenges. The university is home to more than 90 research centers, including the 3,487-hectare Konza Prairie Biological Station and the Biosecurity Research Institute, which focuses on infectious diseases, as well as plant and food-borne pathogens. The Kansas Water Institute is a collaborative, multidisciplinary initiative that will draw expertise from across K-State's campuses.
The Konza Prairie Biological station is located on a 3,487 hectare native tallgrass prairie preserve jointly owned by The Nature Conservancy and Kansas State University.
