People
We live in a world filled with risks. Whether political, operational, safety, reputational, catastrophic, financial, environmental or economic, risk is complex and dynamic. Its effects can instantaneously rattle decision-making processes and shift markets. As a result, we need professionals who understand risks and can manage them across varying industries and sectors.
Focused on this need, RMC's staff leadership and advisory council draw on their own experiences to shape programs and initiatives that position student-fellows and industry stakeholders to manage risk.
Center Leadership
Leadership for RMC is provided by K-State's Department of Agricultural Economics as well as faculty in the departments of Finance and Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering.
Advisory Council
The RMC Advisory Council provides leadership to strengthen the center and its programs. Members are volunteers who commit time, share knowledge and provide resources to enhance risk management education and research at Kansas State University. The council advises center and university leaders, assists in advancing the center's mission and advocates for the center.
