Joe's work focuses on risk management and policy solutions that lead to strategic opportunities for businesses and individuals to be innovative, resilient and profitable. Recognizing that no solution is found in isolation, his approach is to use systems design in modeling decision processes. This allows for robust solutions to agency-level questions.

He is a dedicated leader, teacher, mentor, and researcher with more than 25 years of academic and consulting experience. His research activities include risk assessment and mitigation, pricing analysis, marketing actions, financial assessment, strategic and operational planning, production choices and systems solutions.
