Eric graduated from North Park University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. His first experience in the social work field was at a homeless shelter in Chicago, where he worked as a case manager for 3 years - during this time Eric also became a licensed addiction counselor in Illinois. Shortly after moving to Kansas Eric received his MSW from Washburn University. Eric completed his internship for his graduate degree at Pawnee Mental Health and was hired full time after graduating. Eric worked as a therapist for 7 years before being promoted to recovery services manager.
