Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
A Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) represents a form of federal "gift" aid. Approximate annual amounts are between $100 to $1,200.
FSEOG is awarded to undergraduate students with exceptional financial need. Due to limited funding, priority for the FSEOG is given to Pell Grant recipients with exceptional need who meet K-State's priority date for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Undergraduate students awarded a SEOG must be enrolled at least ½ time (6 credit hour for a regular fall/spring term) to have a SEOG authorized to be disbursed.
