Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies Ambassadors

Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies Ambassadors was created to promote community amongst prospective, current, and former students of the K-State Women's Studies Department that will allow for professional networking. American Ethnic Studies Multicultural Coalition (The Coalition)

The Coalition advocates for intellectual diversity at Kansas State University and beyond. Intellectual diversity includes the programmatic, curricular, and physical presence of historically underrepresented peoples.

Triota

The Alpha Chapter of IOTA IOTA IOTA begain inducting member in 1992. This honor society was founded to maintain the feminist values central to Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies and encourage diversity, egalitarianism, and a supportive academic environment for all students. In 2008, K-State started the Beta Alpha Chapter of Triota and we are committed to upholding Triota’s ideals. Membership shall be open to contract majors or minors in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies students at Kansas State University having a strong interest in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies and having achieved third semester standing with at least 6 hours of gender, women, and sexuality studies courses with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and a major/minor GPA of at least 3.3 undergraduate and 3.5 graduate student. KSU Gender Collective

The Gender Collective is an organization designed to provide a venue for individuals who are transgender, cross-gender, intersex, androgynous, gender variant, or otherwise involved in activities, expressions, or presentation that is divergent from their birth-assigned sex. We come together to engage in outreach and educational efforts for the Kansas State University faculty, staff, and students and Manhattan community to promote a better understanding and acceptance of gender diversity, expression, and identity issues. Together we work in concert with University administration on ways to make campus a more accessible environment for individuals of varying gender identities. Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA)

SAGA is a welcoming and safe organization for those that identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning or are an ally to our community. All students, faculty and staff of K-State are welcome to attend along with community members!

Wildcats Against Sexual Violence

Wildcats Against Sexual Vioence (WASV) is an organization that raises awareness of sexual violence and how it affects college campuses. Its purpose is to make K-State a more survivor-centered campus through prevention, education, and policy change.
