Summer 2024 LEAPES Graduate Classes

Facilitating teachers for the Summer STEAM Academy - Project LEAPES Classroom are eligible to enroll in 6 hours of graduate classes through the Kansas State University College of Education. These courses may be used toward a graduate degree in Education at Kansas State University. You do not have to be currently enrolled as a graduate student in education at KSU to take these classes.

Tuition is $200/credit hour, a significant discount from the usual College of Education distance graduate class rate. You must enroll in both classes to be eligible for the graduate credit.

How to Enroll

If you are already a student at KSU...

Enroll with Department Consent. Email Laura Schwartz (lschwartz@ksu.edu) letting her know that you are a teacher in Project LEAPES and would like to enroll in course numbers 11532 & 11533.

If you are not a student at KSU...

K-State online has produced a guide for enrolling for Nondegree-seeking Graduate Students here. There is also a "Help getting started" section which answers questions on how to get started as a nondegree student at KSU. Once you are admitted as a nondegree graduate student, you can enroll following the steps above.
