September 11 - Scanning - "Doing it Right"
Overview: Want to get the most our of your scanner? This session covers the essentials you need to know in getting the right scan from photos, documents, graphics and even simple objects. Learn about proper resolution settings, sizing images, and the right format to save your files. The presentation also includes a hands-on session at the Media Development Center. Bring your own samples!

October 9: Real Media Producer - Streaming Video and Audio Over the Internet
Overview: Do you want to place a lecture on-line for students to view at any time? This session demonstrates the use of Real Media’s free Helix Producer software that converts digital video and audio into a Web-based Real Media streaming format. Learn about different bandwidth considerations and the services offered by the Division of Continuing Education for streaming.

October 23: Adobe Acrobat 6 - Tools and Features for Powerful Digital Documents
Overview: PDF Adobe Acrobat digital documents have become a standard for on-line Internet documents. This program will be given by K-State’s Adobe educational representative and will cover the tools, shortcuts, and latest features offered by this powerful software.

November 6: Digital Photo Albums - From Digital Camera to Digital Viewers
Overview: What do you do with your photos from your digital camera? This presentation will give you several ideas on how to show and distribute them to family, friends and even students. Some of the software demonstrated will be Macromedia’s Dreamweaver and Adobe’s Photoshop Album.
