Biological and agricultural engineering faculty honored at international meeting
Seven faculty members and two graduate students from the Kansas State University department of biological and agricultural engineering were recognized for their accomplishments at the 2017 American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering's annual international meeting, July 16-19, in Spokane, Washington.
Honorees include the following: Mark Casda, adjunct professor with U.S. Department of Agriculture's Center for Grain and Animal Health Research, ASABE fellow; Ronaldo Maghirang, professor, 2017 ASABE Superior Paper Award, with co-authors; Danny Rogers, professor, Heermann Sprinkler Irrigation Award and Outstanding Reviewer Award; Ajay Sharda, assistant professor, two ASABE Educational Aids Blue Ribbon awards; Donghai Wang, professor, Outstanding Reviewer Award; and Lisa Wilken, assistant professor, Gale A. Holloway Professional Development Award.
Kelsey McDonough, doctoral student, and Nicholle Hatton, master's student, took first place in the Ethic Video Challenge.
