Engineering associate dean to present in China
Gary Clark, senior associate dean for the College of Engineering and professor of biological and agricultural engineering, will be an invited speaker and session moderator for the Irrigation in Action Symposium at China Agricultural University in Beijing, Oct. 9-16.
His presentation, "Design and uniformity considerations for subsurface drip irrigation," will reflect his research specialties on uses of micro-irrigation technology, hydraulics of irrigation systems, irrigation scheduling and system design.
Clark also will provide an introduction to ABET and assessment processes to the College of Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering at the China Agricultural University. He serves as chief administrator for the ABET accreditation and assessment processes for the College of Engineering.
