K-State has strong presence at AAACE annual conference
Sixteen K-State faculty and graduate students — nearly all with the College of Education — recently presented at the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education conference Oct. 29-Nov. 1 in Reno, Nevada.
Faculty in the department of educational leadership who presented include Royce Ann Collins, professor and chair; Trisha Barefield, teaching assistant professor; Susan Yelich Biniecki, professor of educational leadership; and Maja Stojanovic, assistant professor of educational leadership. The College of Architecture, Planning & Design's Scott Barton, assistant professor of interior architecture & industrial design, also presented.
Three recent Ph.D. graduates in adult learning and leadership — Audrey Ayers, Richard Hannah and Dawn Hilton — also presented.
Current doctoral students who delivered presentations at the academic conference include: Anne Brown, Connie Carpenter, Maryjan Fiala, Melissa Hort-Overton, Andrew Parzyck, Yugant Patra, Melynda Thorpe and Cheryl Zelle.
