K-State Proud co-chair applications being taken
The Student Foundation is inviting interested students to apply for a position as co-chair for the 2011-2012 K-State Proud campaign. Faculty and staff members can help by encouraging students to apply.
K-State Proud is a nationally recognized "students helping students" philanthropic campaign that raises money from K-State students for K-State students. The money is allocated through two types of student opportunity awards. The first, the K-State Proud award, is for students who have exhausted all financial resources and are in danger of leaving the university. The second award is the K-State Hero award, and it is awarded to the unsung heroes at K-State; students who have gone above and beyond for the university and the Manhattan community.
K-State Proud co-chair applications are being accepted online. Applications are due by noon Tuesday, April 12, and can be accessed here: http://www.k-stateproud.org/email/kstateproud_2011/ksp_form_v3.pdf.
