Wildcat weekend: Basketball, football and volleyball in one weekend
Fans, come join K-State Athletics for a fun-filled Wildcat weekend.
K-State will kickoff the 2013-2014 basketball season with Madness in Manhattan at 8:30 p.m. tonight in Bramlage Coliseum. The event will feature a dunk contest, skills competition, scrimmage and a special unveiling in the Bramlage Coliseum rafters. Doors will open at 8 p.m. and entry is free. The first 2,500 fans will receive a mini 2013 Big 12 Championship banner.
On Saturday, head over to Bill Snyder Family Stadium at 2:45 p.m. to watch the Wildcats take on Big 12 Conference opponent West Virginia as K-State celebrates homecoming and the end of the K-State 150th anniversary celebration. For Greek students, this event is worth Purple Pride Cup points.
To round out your Wildcat weekend, stop by Ahearn Field House as K-State volleyball takes on the No. 1 ranked and defending national champion Texas Longhorns on Saturday. Tickets are available for $3 with a K-State vs. West Virginia football ticket, and students get in free with a student ID. For Greek students, this event is worth Purple Pride Cup points.
