Proposals now being accepted for the 2011 Axio Learning Conference
Proposals to present at the 2011 Axio Learning Conference are now being accepted. Now in its sixth year, this conference provides an opportunity for faculty to connect with their peer community and learn about emerging tools and techniques of online teaching and learning.
Our learning management system, K-State Online, is powered by Axio Learning, which is developed, managed and supported by several K-State units.
The conference will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 28 and 29, at the K-State Alumni Center.
Interactive and beginner/advanced sessions are highly encouraged, as are show/tell sessions and panel discussions. Sessions are 50 minutes. We recommend you allow at least 10 minutes for questions during the session.
New this year is the Peer Showcase, an exhibition of innovative methods so you can chat with faculty as they demo their work and explain how it was done. The Peer Showcase will be Sept. 28 during the lunch hour.
Submit your presentation and/or showcase proposal by July 1 to Dave Young at dayoung@k-state.edu
For examples of past presentations, go to 2010 axioconference or 2009 axioconference.
