Admissions website available for preview today
The office of admissions, new student services and the Division of Communications and Marketing are previewing a new website for future students starting today. The new admissions website at www.k-state.edu/admissions will better market K-State and attract future students.
The old website for future students at www.consider.k-state.edu and any URLs associated with it will redirect to the new admissions website in mid-July.
Future students can easily navigate and find information about K-State using the new admissions website. Incoming students use the admissions website to gather information about the university and its programs, as well as to apply for admission and scholarships.
Usability testing has revealed that users of the new website easily found popular content, including tuition and costs, admission requirements, majors and programs, and an application for admission and scholarships. Parents and incoming students reported positive feedback on the design and usability of the new website.
K-State's new admissions website features more dynamic information, new content, reorganized topics and an updated look that includes K-State’s new wordmark and branding standards. The new admissions website will help attract the very best incoming students, who will play a key role in K-State’s effort to become a top 50 public research university by 2025.
If you have feedback on the new admissions website, you may provide it using an online form.
