Those with an appetite for a wide variety of entertainment can prepare to help themselves to a buffet of Broadway, music, dance and innovation with the 2011-2012 McCain Performance Series at Kansas State University.

Beginning with the first performance Sept. 30, audiences will be treated to more headliners than ever before -- including great shows for the whole family, said Todd Holmberg, McCain executive director.

"This season will be spectacular in so many ways," Holmberg said. "Last season was met with so much positive reaction, I knew the pressure was on to program another season that would not disappoint. I think the upcoming season hits the mark and is one of the most well-rounded and exciting seasons ever programmed at McCain."

Season tickets for the 2011-2012 McCain Performance Series are on sale now, and single tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 29.

A variety of discounts are available for K-State students, faculty and staff; military members; and youth 18 and under. Discounts also are available for those who subscribe to seven or more events. For more information, call the McCain box office at 785-532-6428.
