Kansas 4-H Youth Development program presented with Outstanding Quality Program Award
The Kansas 4-H Youth Development program was presented with the Outstanding Quality Program Award at the annual States' 4-H International Exchange Programs Fall Coordinators Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Rose Scott and Mary Kay Munson were recognized for 10 years of dedicated support for their promotion of global citizenship and Kansas’ participation in States’ 4-H cultural exchange and immersion programs. Deryl Waldren, 4-H Youth Development Specialist has just completed his service as chair of States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs. Kansas 4-H Youth Development was also recognized for participating in Summer Inbound programs since 1977. In that time more than 3,000 youth delegates from abroad have lived with a Kansas 4-H host family.
