Work by interior architecture & product design's Jani and students accepted to national environmental design conference
Submitted by Communications and Marketing
Poster and papers by 17 students from the interior architecture & product design department of the College of Architecture, Planning & Design, or APDesign, have been accepted for presentation at the 2014 Environmental Design Research Association Conference.
More than 700 submissions were considered for presentation at EDRA45NewOrleans, which will be May 28-31 in New Orleans.
Founded in 1968, the Environmental Design Research Association addresses the expanding the horizon of environmental design to include concerns about people as a vital ingredient of change. The association's vision originally focused on improving the environment for humankind but is now focused heavily on organizational efficacy.
Each submission was double-blind reviewed by qualified reviewers in the domain areas identified by the authors. The projects, all under the direction of Vibhavari Jani, associate professor, will be presented at the conference and the abstract of the paper presentations will be published in the conference proceedings.
