K-State Libraries wins regional award for 'Ready Player One' game
K-State Libraries were selected as the recipient of the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls “Of the Month” award for the "Ready Player One" alternate reality game conducted this fall.
The award highlights the work of K-State Libraries assistant professors Daniel Ireton and Joelle Pitts and instructional designer Ben Ward, Informational Technology Assistance Center, and the impact of their game on students living in K-State’s residence hall community. The nomination was chosen as the winner from among 870 nominations received from more than 25 universities, and is now in the running to win the national award.
