University sponsoring One Health Summit 2014 in Kansas City in March

Registration is open for the BioKansas One Health Summit on March 5 and 6 at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan. The university is an event sponsor.
The One Health Summit offers podium presentations and panel discussions by subject matter experts working across human, animal, and plant sciences. The event also provides networking and exhibit opportunities to enhance connections within our bioscience community.
Among the presenters are: Ralph Richardson, dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine; Kent Glasscock, president of the Kansas State University Institute for Commercialization; Brian Lubbers, director of clinical microbiology, Kansas State Diagnostic Laboratory; and Scott McVeigh, adjunct professor of diagnostic medicine and pathobiology.
