Mortar Board Senior Honor Society accepting membership applications
Mortar Board Senior Honor Society is currently accepting membership applications for the 2014-2015 school year.
The K-State chapter of Mortar Board has distinguished itself with the Golden Torch Award year after year from the national office, which is given for outstanding scholarship, leadership and service on campus and in the community. Members are active and passionate, accepting the responsibility and joy to be devoted to the chapter, campus and Manhattan community. Mortar Board provides services, benefits, opportunities and lifelong friendships to its members.
Eligibility criteria are as follows:
• Completion of at least 75 credit hours as of Jan. 1
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Exceptional scholarship, leadership, and service records
• Commitment to Mortar Board throughout the 2014-2015 academic year
Applications are due by noon Friday, Feb. 14, in 103 Leadership Studies Building. Current Mortar Board members will host an information table in the Leadership Studies Building from 10 a.m. to 12:55 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 10 and 11.
