Everything in the Smallest Room workshop for middle school students on Saturday
Middle school students from across Kansas will visit K-State on Saturday, Feb. 22, to learn the various roles of scientists and engineers in the design and functions of everything in the smallest room of the house — the bathroom.
Everything in the Smallest Room is a Saturday workshop for middle school students is hosted by the Girls Researching Our World, or GROW, program through the K-State office for the advancement of women in science and engineering, or KAWSE.
Activity topics include lighting, plumbing, the chemistry and biology of hair conditioners and lotions, resource optimization for delivering clean water, sustainability and more.
