An opening reception for "Painting Borges: Art Interpreting Literature" will be from 5-7 p.m. March 7 at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art. A cash bar will be available.
Contemporary Argentinean and Cuban artists in this exhibition respond to the writings of Argentine author and philosopher Jorge Luis Borges. Borges' stories consider the complex issues of identity and memory, freedom and destiny, and faith and divinity.
