K-State Inline Hockey Club qualifies for nationals for the third year in a row
The K-State Inline Hockey Club joined the Top 20 teams nationally to receive a bid to the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association National Invitational Tournament, April 9-14, in Aston, Pa. This is the third year in a row that the club has qualified. In 2012, we made it into the Final Four. Last year we made the Sweet 16. This year we have the potential to go deep in the tournament.
K-State finished the regular season in third place in the Great Plains Region. During the playoffs, we made it to the final round before losing to Missouri State. This clinched the runner-up trophy for the region for the second year in a row.
