Manhattan Good Neighbors seeks volunteers for Spring Clean
The Manhattan Good Neighbors program is seeking volunteers to help with its Spring Clean from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30.
Manhattan Good Neighbors specifically focuses on neighborhoods around the K-State campus. Along with beautifying the community, the Spring Clean is way for faculty, students and the public to build relationships with their neighbors.
Volunteers will be doing yard work in Manhattan neighborhoods, including cleaning up lawns, weed pulling, planting and other tasks that have been identified by neighborhood associations or by senior residents. Volunteers will be assigned to different project depending on their strengths.
Lunch has been donated by local businesses and will be provided to volunteers.
For more information or to sign up, email handson@k-state.edu or visit Manhattan Good Neighbors.
