Medicare basics presentation
Are you approaching 65 years of age? Do you assist your parents with medical issues? Does the word Medicare send a shiver down your spine? Are you confused about your options and what to expect once your insurance changes?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then an upcoming Medicare basics workshop is for you. This unbiased and free class will help you gain the knowledge you need to make informed decisions. Jennifer Wilson, Riley County Extension director and Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas partner, will present "Medicare Basics for Boomers and Beyond" from 6–8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the K-State Alumni Center Ballroom. Human resources benefits personnel also will be available.
This is an on-campus event sponsored by the university's Division of Human Resources. There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Spouses and guests of employees are welcome to attend. Please email learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu to register your spouse or guest. You can register yourself in one of two ways:
1) Through HRIS Self-Service, training enrollment, or
2) Email learning-develop-hr@ksu.edu with your name, employee ID number, and course title and session. Course Number: WTD137 Session 004. If bringing a spouse or guest, please include that information as well.
