Engineering senior places third in national competition
Emma Brace, senior in biological systems engineering, placed third overall at the 2014 Institute of Biological Engineering Bioethics Competition March 8 in Lexington, Ky.
Her essay, "Biodefense: Looking Back and Moving Forward," had been previously selected as one of five national finalists' entries by a panel of faculty judges from across the U.S. The finalists presented their essays during the Institute of Biological Engineering annual meeting.
