New department of diagnostic medicine and pathobiology learning center dedicated
The Lechtenberg Family Learning Center, in 343 Coles Hall, was dedicated June 28. The center's updgraded technology accommodates video and audio conferences. Some of the upgrades include Skype technology, Polycom and many other features for conferences and small-size classroom lectures.
The center was made possible through a donation and support from Kelly Lechtenberg, a 1987 K-State doctor of veterinary medicine graduate, and his wife Marci. Lechtenberg is the founder and CEO of Central States Research Centre and Logan Valley Feeders, Oakland, Neb. Lechtenberg was selected as the College of Veterinary Medicine's 2005 alumni fellow.
