Geography lecture about water treatment in south India
The geography department in the College of Arts & Sciences, along with the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, will host Luke Juran for a public lecture at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, in 164H Seaton Hall.
Juran is an assistant professor in the geography department and Virginia Water Resources Research Center at Virginia Tech University. He will present "Household Water Treatment Among Affected Populations in Post-Tsunami South India." This lecture is open to the public and will include refreshments.
Juran is coming to K-State through a mentor grant from Virginia Tech. K-State's Bimal Paul, professor in geography, will serve as his mentor.
